Leather type

Chrome Pneumatic:
Natural Hairsheep, Used for pouches, small pneumatics, reed organ, player piano and cuckoo clock bellows.

Tan Pneumatic:
Hairsheep used for pouches, small pneumatics, and diaphragms.

Kangaroo:
Strongest leather available, yet soft and supple. Used for pouches, small pneumatics, diaphragms, reed organ, player piano and cuckoo clock bellows.

Percussion:
Hairsheep, dyed black .Used for drum beaters, reservoirs, medium pneumatics, gaskets.

Swell Shade Pneumatic:
Cowhide, very soft but strong. Used for large power pneumatics, gussets and gaskets.

Black Cowhide:
Cowhide, very soft but strong. Used for covering pumping bellows, coin pianos, band organs, reed organs, gussets and gaskets.

Deer/Elk:
Strong and soft, gray-white color used for pallets, valves, gussets and corner caps.

White Dear:
Same as Dear/Elk, but the color is white. Used for reservoirs, gussets, valves and pallets, medium and large pneumatics.

Goat:
Known for its strength. Used for pneumatics, valves, gussets, corner caps, ribs, pallets and diaphragms.

Goat De-grained:
Goat with the grain side buffed. Used for packing, gaskets and valves.

Cabretta:
Cross between a hairsheep and a goat. Soft and Strong. Used for valves, gussets and pneumatics.

White Bellows/Ribs:
Cowhide, Pre-stretched with a white finish. Used for bellows, ribs, reservoirs and hinges.

Full Strain Sheep:
Hairsheep. fully stretched for reservoir ribs White color.

Half Strain Sheep:
Hairsheep,  partially stretched, used for gussets, flap valves, medium to large pneumatics. White color.

Bellows Leather:
Woolsheep, very soft and supple, used for medium to large pneumatics, ribs and gussets. White color.

White Valve:
Soft hairsheep. White finish.

English Sheep:
Hairsheep. Used for medium to large power pneumatics, bellows, pallets, and gussets. White color.

Packing:
Splits, double buffed-suede both sides, cowhide, uniform thickness used for gaskets, large valves, packing and stoppers.

Splits:
This is  split (suede both sides) hairsheep skins. Used for thin gaskets and packing and small pipe stoppers.

White Valve:
Snow white colored woolsheep. Used for valves, pallets and gussets.

Cream Valve:
Woolsheep, cream  color. Used for valves, pallets, gussets, gaskets and pipe stoppers.

Brown Basil:
Used for flap valves. Smooth finish on the grain side, valve surface on the flesh side. Used in band organs, player pianos, barrel organs, street organs, orchestrions , etc.

Flap Valve:
Cowhide, with a hard, smooth finish on the grain side. Valve surface on the flesh side. Used in player pianos, band organs, etc.

Zephyr Membrane:
Intestinal membrane, used for small pneumatics, pouches, cuckoo clock bellows, bird boxes and woodwind instruments.

Brown Goat:
Kid goat, smooth on hair side, buffed for valves on the grain side. Somewhat stiff, stretched. Used for player piano valves, flap valves, etc.

Gasometer Leather:
Suede both sides. Used for valves, packing, gaskets. Light tan-brown color.

White Goat:
Goat, but in a snow white color. Used for pneumatics, valves, gussets, corner caps, and ribs.

White Lamb:
Lamb, Snow White Color. Used for Medium pneumatics, diaphragms, and valves.

White Pneumatic:
Same as the tan pneumatic leather, but in a white color. Used for pouches, small pneumatics.
