Restoration of the bellows for the reed organ
of George and Beverly Underwood.
Reed organs were constructed in the United
States during the late 19th and 20th centuries, and were
instruments that were utilized by small churches in rural
areas (or small chapels) or as instruments in finer homes.
Though generally reed organs repair and restoration cost
far exceed the value of the instrument itself, there are
those who owned an instrument in their families for several
generations that would like to see the instrument playable,
or have purchased one and wish to have it playable regardless
of the cost.
